Aside from both being camera shy! They are adopted together and will live a happy ever after!
Prince is Southwind’s personality horse. When People head out to the pasture he’s always the first horse to come say hello, possibly because he has learned that he gets more carrots that way, but mostly because he really likes to be around people.
Prince still lives at SouthWinds. His new owner Matt lives down the road and Prince is looking forward to his turn to go for training this year.
Photo'd here she is getting her teeth done with her new mom. She will be staying at Southwinds Horse Rescue as a boarder!
GHOST & RIVER
Adopted together, they will be life long pals at there new home enjoying training and pastures as far as the eye can see!
TIA & CAL
Tia was a race horse and a polo horse before Southwinds, She is in a home with children and went with another horse from Southwinds; Cal. They both love there new home and the children they get to spend there days with.
Wonder is in his new home with his new Owner, Elizabeth and loving each and everyday they get to go out riding together!
HENRY & SWEETY
Johnny Cash will be heading to his new home in Thompson Manitoba in the Spring time! Super excited for this little guy, Enjoy the North!
ATHENA & SPIRIT
Misty was sent for Training and his trainer failed! Their pony and mister got along great and it was a beautiful ending to mister's tragic story!
Merlin Fell in love with Sharon at first sight and followed her around. It actually resulted as a Happily ever after as Sharon took Merlin home!
APPY & SKEETER
Nugget had asthma and was welcomed into his new home with open arms. He enjoys life as a lighty ridden pleasure horse specializing in being a companion horse.
He has an amazing new job at the track. He had a successful summer as a pony horse. He has proven to be very reliable and is cherished by his new owner!
DOG & BLACK
They happily munch down Cherie’s pasture and enjoy the occasional ride.
Black is the boss and decides where they should eat and lye down in the pasture.
Their mom dotes on them hand and foot! Tucker has been playing with a bit of pole bending, trail riding, and getting used to flags etc! Loves any treat, and good mud rolls!
